Hailing from the heartland of the United States, Midwest Type is Jesse R. Ewing’s typeface design studio based in Akron, Ohio. Fonts are inspired by the region’s rich industrial, aerospace, and agricultural history, contrasted with a resurgence in its urban centers as new cultural and technological destinations in the 21st century.
